Adie is a state-approved microfinance association. Its aim is to help people far removed from employment who do not have access to traditional bank credit to create and develop their business, and thus their employment, through microcredit. A microcredit is a loan of up to €10,000. A pioneer of microcredit in France and Europe and present throughout mainland France and in the overseas departments and territories, Adie is the major player in this field. At the same time as granting funding, Adie supports and advises entrepreneurs before and after the launch of their project, relying on the commitment of its 1,500 volunteers. France Active guarantees part of Adie’s microcredits, and the two entities cooperate on a regular basis, notably to promote entrepreneurship in the geographical areas furthest removed from any economic dynamics.
