BNP PARIBAS is a major player committed to entrepreneurs, the driving force behind economic growth and employment. Supporting social entrepreneurship is one of BNP Paribas’ key commitments as a responsible bank. BNP Paribas has chosen to take a proactive approach to social entrepreneurship alongside France Active, which notably led to the signature of an agreement in January 2014. Support for social entrepreneurship, through the Act For Impact scheme dedicated to social entrepreneurs, is one of the key commitments of BNP Paribas as a responsible and committed bank. In this context, in 2020, BNP Paribas wanted to strengthen its global partnership approach with France Active in order to, first, support the creators of solidarity-based businesses through the “Place de l’Émergence”, and help entities weakened by the crisis by participating in the “Relance Solidaire” programme and, second, to develop its volunteer and skills sponsorship programme with France Active and its network.
