The bookshop ‘Les intrus’, which combines culture and social links in the heart of Saint-Etienne
The association ‘DEFI production’, which trains young people from working-class neighbourhoods in the film industry in Toulouse
And finally ‘Présent & sens’, which reinvents business gifts through local and responsible production in the Centre Val de Loire region.
It focuses on two surveys carried out with our partners: women and entrepreneurship (in partnership with the French Banking Federation) and the French and socially responsible savings (in partnership with Fair).
Finally, it highlights our ‘Place de l’émergence’, a scheme aimed at entrepreneurs seeking funding to test their business model and develop their project.

- Citiz, a pioneering car-sharing cooperative, that offers mobility solutions in and around Toulouse.
- “A Meda”, a grocery store specializing in regional products in the heart of a small Corsican village.
- And last but not least, “Protectus”, a company that promotes social and ecological transition in the hospital sector by offering washable and reusable clothing using local know-how.
Finally, we focus on two surveys carried out in 2023: the French and responsible consumption, and the French and solidarity-based savings.

- securing entrepreneurial careers,
- investing for social utility,
- connecting solidarity-based initiatives.
This publication also highlights 3 socially committed entrepreneurs:
- In the heart of a small town in the Drôme region, the “Deux mains” bakery offers organic sourdough bread. It benefited from the Accès + program.
- The cooperative society Kwala Faya fits solar panels in remote villages in the Guyanese jungle. France Active helped it scale up.
- And last but not least, Les Jardins de Solène, an organization that promotes inclusive employment and the recycling of agricultural waste in its region. A project that contributes to the creation of socially committed enterprises communities.
